These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the SecureShiksha website (Website), mobile applications, and all related features, subdomains, products, content, and services offered on or through the Site and/or Application and/or any other medium, platform, or format (collectively referred to as the “Platform” or the “SecureShiksha Platform”). The Platform is fully owned and operated by Mrwebsecure Infosolutions Private Limited (“Company”, “we”, “us”, or “our”).
SecureShiksha is a standalone digital learning platform created and operated by Mrwebsecure Infosolutions Private Limited (“Mrwebsecure”), a company incorporated in India. While SecureShiksha is fully owned and managed by Mrwebsecure, it functions as a separate and independent platform, solely dedicated to delivering subscription-based digital learning solutions. Mrwebsecure may operate other products or services under its brand, but SecureShiksha remains a distinct initiative with its own independent focus.
These Terms apply to all users of the Platform, including, without limitation:
➢ Learners accessing courses, lectures, study materials, or tests.
➢ Educators, mentors, or content providers creating and/or making available educational content (“Content Providers”).
➢ Any other users accessing or using the Platform or its Services in any manner.
Together with our Privacy Policy, Refund Policy, and any other rules, terms, or policies that may be incorporated by reference or updated from time to time (collectively, the “Platform Policies”), these Terms define the legal relationship between you and Mrwebsecure Infosolutions and govern your use of the Platform and the Services offered.
By registering on, accessing, or using the Platform, you (“User”, “you”, or “your”) expressly agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms and the Platform Policies. Collectively, they form a legally binding agreement (“Agreement”) between you and Mrwebsecure Infosolutions Private Limited.
When we refer to “SecureShiksha”, “Company”, “we”, “us”, or “our”, we mean Mrwebsecure Infosolutions Private Limited, the sole owner and operator of the Platform.
We may, from time to time, update or revise these Terms and Platform Policies to reflect changes in law, our services, or business practices. Any updated version will be published on the Platform. Continued use of the Platform after such updates will constitute your acceptance of the revised Terms.
1. PLATFORM SERVICES
SecureShiksha is an online digital learning platform that provides learners with access to educational content, including live lectures, pre-recorded courses, study materials, assessments, and other learning
resources (collectively, the “Services”). All content available on the Platform is created, curated, and managed exclusively by SecureShiksha, and the Platform does not allow third-party content providers to upload or distribute content. SecureShiksha may also provide, directly or indirectly, additional incidental or ancillary services and features, including, without limitation, contests, webinars, discussion forums, and other educational or engagement-related activities, as may be offered on the Platform from time to time.
Where SecureShiksha may, in the future, integrate or collaborate with affiliates or third-party platforms to provide additional products or services, these Terms shall continue to apply to your access and use of such offerings. For the purposes of these Terms, the terms “Platform Services” or “Services” shall mean and include all services, content, features, and resources made available on or through the Platform, including any new services or features that SecureShiksha may introduce in the future.
You acknowledge and agree that SecureShiksha has sole control over the Services and all content provided therein. All educational videos, lectures, study material, and related content are created, owned, and provided exclusively by SecureShiksha or its authorized partners. Users are not permitted to upload, publish, or share any videos, lectures, or similar content on the Platform. To the extent users may generate limited content (such as discussion forum posts, comments, or reviews, if applicable), SecureShiksha assumes no responsibility for such user-generated content and shall not be liable for any claims, losses, or damages arising from it. SecureShiksha reserves the right, at any time and without prior notice, to modify, suspend, or discontinue any Service, content, feature, or aspect of the Platform, to restrict or terminate your access to the Platform if required information is not provided, and to change the supported or compatible devices required to access or use the Services. By using the Platform, you expressly agree to comply with these Terms and acknowledge that continued access and use of the Services constitute your acceptance of any modifications or updates made by SecureShiksha from time to time.
2. RIGHT TO ACCESS & ACCOUNT CREATION
To access and use the SecureShiksha Platform, users are required to register and create an account by providing accurate, complete, and up-to-date information. By registering, each user affirms that all details provided are true and correct and further undertakes to maintain and promptly update such information whenever necessary so as to ensure its continued accuracy. Registration shall be permitted only to individuals who satisfy the applicable age requirements. In the case of residents of India, a user must have attained at least eighteen (18) years of age in order to create an account. Individuals who do not meet this minimum age requirement may only use the Platform with the express consent and active supervision of a parent or legal guardian, who shall be deemed to have reviewed and accepted these Terms on behalf of the minor. SecureShiksha retains the right to restrict, suspend, or terminate any account where the age requirement is not satisfied or where parental consent is not validly obtained.
Each user shall be solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of his or her account credentials and for all activity undertaken through such account. The sharing of login information or permitting others to access an account is strictly prohibited. In the event of any suspected misuse, unauthorized access, or security breach, the user is required to immediately notify SecureShiksha. The Platform shall not be liable for any loss, damage, or consequence arising out of unauthorized use of an account. Users are further advised to exercise particular caution when accessing their accounts through public or shared devices in order to prevent inadvertent disclosure of their credentials or personal information.
The Platform and all content provided therein remain the exclusive property of SecureShiksha and may not be copied, distributed, reproduced, modified, transmitted, or otherwise used except with prior written authorization. The use of the Platform for commercial purposes, including but not limited to
resale, advertising, solicitation, or the promotion of third-party content or services, is expressly prohibited. Automated access systems such as bots, crawlers, or scrapers may not be employed in any manner that exceeds the scope of ordinary human interaction. Users are further prohibited from attempting to collect, harvest, or misuse the personal data of other users.
While learners may be permitted to engage in limited interactions on the Platform, such as posting comments, reviews, or participating in discussions where such features are available, the uploading, publishing, or sharing of videos, lectures, or any other instructional material by users is expressly prohibited. All user-generated interactions must comply with applicable laws and must not be unlawful, obscene, defamatory, infringing, threatening, misleading, or otherwise objectionable in nature. SecureShiksha reserves the right to monitor, restrict, or remove any such content or interaction that is deemed to be in violation of these Terms or otherwise inappropriate in its sole discretion.
Access to the Platform requires the use of a compatible device, such as a computer, tablet, or mobile device, which meets SecureShiksha’s technical requirements. It shall be the responsibility of each user to ensure that their device is and remains capable of supporting the Platform and Services. Accounts may be suspended or terminated, whether upon the request of the user or at the discretion of SecureShiksha, for reasons including but not limited to breach of these Terms, non-fulfilment of age requirements, misuse of the Platform, provision of false or misleading information, or compliance with any applicable legal or regulatory obligations.
By registering on the Platform, the user acknowledges and confirms the accuracy of all information provided and further accepts the obligation to maintain its accuracy throughout their use of the Services. The user also acknowledges that SecureShiksha may, from time to time, introduce updates, improvements, bug fixes, and new versions of its software or features, and that such updates shall be necessary for the continued access and proper functioning of the Platform.
SecureShiksha reserves the right, at any time and without prior notice, to reject or place on hold any registration, disable or suspend an account, remove user content, discontinue access to Services, or withdraw any aspect of the Platform, whether in whole or in part, at its sole discretion. Such action may be taken in circumstances including violation of these Terms, the need to comply with legal or regulatory requirements, or any other reason determined appropriate by SecureShiksha in its exclusive judgment.
3. SUBSCRIPTION TERMS
Access to certain features, courses, and services on the Platform is available only through paid subscriptions. Subscription plans may include access to a single specific course or to SecureShiksha Prime, which provides access to multiple courses and educational materials during the active subscription period. All subscriptions are personal, non-transferable, and may be used only for educational purposes. Subscription fees are payable in advance and are strictly non-refundable and non-transferable, except as expressly stated in our Refund Policy.
The scope of access, subscription duration, renewals, cancellations, pricing revisions, content updates, and termination rules are governed strictly by our Subscription Policy. By purchasing, renewing, or using a subscription, you agree to be bound by the Subscription Policy, which forms an integral part of these Terms and Conditions. 4. PRICING PAYMENT & TERMS
Pricing
(a) The prices of Subscriptions, individual courses, tests, or any other Services (“Paid Services”) are displayed on the Platform at the time of purchase. Prices may vary depending on the device, location, applicable taxes, or promotions.3
(b) Payments must be made only through authorized payment gateways or third-party service providers integrated on the Platform (“Payment Partners”). SecureShiksha shall not be responsible for unauthorized or fraudulent payments made outside the Platform.
(c) By making a payment, you represent and warrant that you are using a valid, authorized payment method. If your payment method fails or remains incomplete, SecureShiksha reserves the right to suspend or terminate your access to Paid Services until full payment is received.
(d) SecureShiksha may, at its discretion and where legally permitted, recover unpaid dues through collection methods, including charging alternative payment methods linked to your account, employing collection agencies, or pursuing legal remedies.
(e) All payments are subject to applicable taxes including but not limited to Goods and Services Tax, (GST), or other similar taxes, as per your billing address or location. SecureShiksha shall not be responsible for any additional charges, deductions, or fees imposed by your bank, card issuer, payment gateway, or any third-party service provider, and such charges shall be borne solely by you.
Refunds and Cancellations
All payments made for SecureShiksha’s paid services, courses, or subscriptions are strictly nonrefundable and non-transferable. Users acknowledge that cancellation of a subscription before the end of its billing period will not entitle them to any refund, whether in full or part. Refunds will also not be provided for dissatisfaction with course quality, technical issues on the user’s device or internet, suspension of accounts due to misuse, or removal of content for legal or operational reasons.
In rare and exceptional circumstances, SecureShiksha may, at its sole discretion and only where required by applicable law, review a refund request. Any such refund will be limited to the original payment method, subject to deductions for applicable charges, and shall not create any ongoing obligation for future refunds. By making any purchase, you agree that the Refund Policy forms an integral part of these Terms and Conditions. Finality of Decisions: All decisions made by SecureShiksha regarding refunds, or denial of refund requests shall be final and binding on the user.
Third-Party Payment Services Disclaimer
(a) Payments are processed via independent third-party payment service providers. By making a payment, you may be subject to their terms, conditions, and privacy policies. SecureShiksha does not control and is not responsible for their actions, errors, or omissions.
(b) SecureShiksha expressly disclaims liability for any failed, delayed, lost, stolen, or incorrectly processed payments arising from third-party payment services.
(c) You acknowledge and agree that you are solely responsible for all charges that occur through such third-party service providers.
Unauthorized Payments & Discounts
(a) SecureShiksha is the sole entity authorized to collect payments and issue discounts or offers. Any payment made outside the Platform, or any discount/offer provided by an unauthorized third party, shall not bind SecureShiksha.
(b) SecureShiksha shall not be liable for any claims, losses, or damages arising from payments made to unauthorized entities or acceptance of unauthorized offers.
5. USE OF PLATFORM
SecureShiksha grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable, and revocable license to use the Platform and its Services strictly for personal, private, and non-commercial educational purposes, subject to compliance with these Terms and, where applicable, payment of Subscription fees. This license entitles you to access and view the content you have subscribed to or purchased, attend live sessions, and use related features only during the active Subscription Period. Your access will automatically lapse at the end of the Subscription term or upon earlier termination of your account in line with these Terms.
You are not permitted to sell, resell, assign, sublicense, rent, lease, trade, or otherwise transfer your account, Subscription, or any rights under these Terms. Any such attempt shall be void and treated as a material breach.
Unless SecureShiksha expressly authorizes in writing, you must not reproduce, copy, record, broadcast, publicly display, modify, adapt, redistribute, or create derivative works of the Platform or any part of it; share your login credentials or enable multiple users to access content through your account; interfere with or bypass any DRM, encryption, or security measures; use bots, scrapers, or automated tools to extract content; or employ the Platform for unlawful, fraudulent, defamatory, obscene, or otherwise harmful purposes.
You remain solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity conducted under your account. SecureShiksha may monitor logins and usage to detect unauthorized access or misuse, and reserves the right to suspend or terminate access immediately in cases of suspected account sharing, piracy, or violation of these Terms, without refund and without prejudice to its rights to seek legal remedies.
6. CONTENT & CONDUCT
You may access and use the SecureShiksha Platform and Services strictly for lawful purposes within the territory of India. You acknowledge and accept full responsibility for all actions, submissions, posts, communications, and overall conduct on the Platform. Your use of the Platform must at all times comply with all applicable Indian laws, statutes, regulations, and these Terms. Any activity that is unlawful, fraudulent, infringing, or in violation of these Terms may, at SecureShiksha’s sole discretion, result in immediate suspension, restriction, or permanent termination of your account and access to the Platform, without prior notice, and may also subject you to civil, criminal, or other legal proceedings under Indian law. SecureShiksha expressly reserves the right to take all necessary steps to protect its interests, enforce these Terms, and ensure lawful use of the Platform.
Users may submit content, which including reviews, questions, posts, homework, or other materials (“User-Generated Content” or “UGC”). You retain ownership of your content, but by submitting it, you grant SecureShiksha a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide, sublicensable license to host, store, distribute, display, promote, and make your content available through the Platform. By submitting UGC, you represent and warrant that you own or have obtained all necessary rights, consents, and permissions; that your content does not infringe the intellectual property, proprietary, or privacy rights
of any third party; and that it is accurate, lawful, non-defamatory, non-obscene, non-harmful, and compliant with all applicable laws. SecureShiksha is not responsible for UGC and does not endorse or guarantee its accuracy, legality, or quality.
Prohibited Content and Conduct:
You must not submit, post, or publish any content, including videos, course material, or any other materials, that:
➢ Violates any law, statute, ordinance, or regulation of India.
➢ Infringes upon the copyrights, trademarks, patents, or other intellectual property or proprietary rights of any third party.
➢ Is defamatory, obscene, pornographic, harassing, abusive, or discriminatory.
➢ Harms, exploits, or endangers minors or children.
➢ Contains viruses, malware, trojans, worms, or any other harmful code.
➢ Misleads, deceives, impersonates another person, or manipulates Platform features, metrics, or usage data.
➢ Attempts unauthorized access to the Platform, including screen-recording, downloading, redistribution, or publishing of content outside the permissions explicitly granted by SecureShiksha.
➢ Publishes, shares, or uploads videos, lectures, tutorials, or any other content on the Platform without prior written authorization from SecureShiksha.
User are responsible for ensuring that all submissions, including homework, reviews, and test responses, are their own work, original, and lawful. Instructors are responsible for the legality, accuracy, and compliance of all content they submit and for interacting with learners in accordance with Platform Terms and applicable laws. They may not grant third parties any rights to their content outside the Platform.
SecureShiksha may, at its sole discretion, remove, disable, or restrict access to content that violates these Terms, applicable laws, or intellectual property rights. Accounts, Subscriptions, or access to the Platform may be suspended or terminated for violations, fraudulent activity, inactivity, or any other reason. SecureShiksha may block access to Services, delete accounts or content, and restrict or prevent repeated or major violations, including misuse of Platform features or fraudulent chargeback requests.
7. COMMUNICATION
Electronic Communications: By using the Platform, you consent to receive communications from SecureShiksha electronically. This may include emails, SMS, phone calls, WhatsApp messages, inapp notifications, or notices posted on the Platform. You authorize SecureShiksha, its affiliates, employees, agents, and contractors to contact you regarding your use of the Platform, Subscriptions, products, services, updates, or promotional offers, even if your phone number is on any state or national do-not-call list. Telephone calls may be recorded.
Charges and Responsibility: You acknowledge that your mobile operator, internet service provider, or any third party may charge you for communications received from SecureShiksha. You agree to bear all such charges, and SecureShiksha will not be liable for any costs incurred.
Opt-Out / Unsubscribe: You may opt out of promotional communications at any time by following the instructions provided in the communication, through your account settings, or by contacting us at the email address under ‘Contact for User Support/Queries’. Opting out affects only future promotional communications. Transactional communications, including service announcements, account-related notices, or legally required communications, cannot be opted out of.
Deletion of Account: If you no longer wish to use the Platform or receive communications (except legally required notices), you may delete your account by following the instructions on the Platform or by contacting us via the designated email.
User Interactions: SecureShiksha acts solely as an intermediary and does not monitor or control interactions between Users. All Users must comply with Platform Terms and guidelines. SecureShiksha reserves the right to suspend, restrict, or terminate your access to the Platform, or any part thereof, for misconduct, complaints received, violations of Platform Terms, or at its sole discretion, with or without prior notice. You acknowledge that any User-generated Content you post on the Platform, including chats, posts, reviews, homework, or other materials, is neither endorsed nor controlled by SecureShiksha. You are solely responsible for the legality, accuracy, appropriateness, and consequences of any content you submit. You represent and warrant that you own or have all necessary rights, licenses, or permissions to submit such content or are otherwise legally entitled to
use it on the Platform.
Liability Disclaimer: SecureShiksha shall not be liable for any damages, claims, or losses arising from electronic communications, User interactions, or User-generated Content on the Platform.
8. PROCESSING OF PERSONAL INFORMATION
All collection, processing, sharing, and storage of any Personal Information you provide to SecureShiksha shall be conducted in accordance with our Privacy Policy. By using the Platform, you consent to the collection and use of your Personal Information as described in the Privacy Policy. 9. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY AND LICENSE TO USER-GENERATED CONTENT
When you purchase or access content on SecureShiksha, you are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to view the content for personal, non-commercial, educational purposes only. You do not acquire any ownership rights in the content
Ownership of User-Generated Content (UGC)
You shall remain the sole and exclusive owner of any content you submit, post, or publish on the SecureShiksha Platform (“User-Generated Content” or “UGC”), including but not limited to text, images, comments, reviews, questions, assignments, or other materials, excluding videos, as video uploads are not permitted on the Platform. SecureShiksha does not claim any ownership over UGC.
By submitting UGC, you represent and warrant that you:
➢ Own or have obtained all necessary rights, licenses, or permissions to submit such content;
➢ Have the right to grant the licenses provided herein; and
➢ Ensure that your content does not infringe any copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, or other proprietary or privacy rights of any third party.
To the extent permitted under Indian law, you waive any moral rights (including rights of attribution and integrity) in relation to your UGC.
License Granted to SecureShiksha
By submitting UGC, you grant SecureShiksha a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, sublicensable, and transferable license to:
(a) host, store, reproduce, distribute, display, transmit, and make your UGC available on or
through the Platform;
(b) monitor, analyse, improve, and operate the Platform and Services;
(c) promote and market the Platform or Services in any media formats or channels, provided that such use shall not misrepresent you or imply endorsement without your prior consent;
(d) de-identify, aggregate, or use UGC for research, analytics, or statistical purposes in
compliance with applicable laws and the Privacy Policy; and
(e) comply with applicable Indian laws, regulations, and court orders.
SecureShiksha shall never disclose de-identified or aggregated information in a manner that can reasonably identify you personally.
License to Other Users: By submitting UGC, you grant other Platform users a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and view your UGC solely through the Platform for personal, noncommercial purposes. Users may not reproduce, distribute, modify, sell, or create derivative works from UGC outside the Platform without your prior written consent.
SecureShiksha Intellectual Property: All content, materials, software, designs, layouts, graphics, logos, audio files, source and object code, and other intellectual property provided by SecureShiksha (“Platform IP”) are owned exclusively by SecureShiksha or its licensors. Users shall not copy, modify, distribute, create derivative works, or otherwise exploit Platform IP except as expressly authorized herein. The intellectual property of the Platform, including all content, features, and underlying technology, is protected under the provisions of the Copyright Act, 1957, the Trade Marks Act, 1999, the Patents Act, 1970, the Information Technology Act, 2000, the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, as well as all other applicable laws in force in India.
Prohibited Acts
Without prior written consent from SecureShiksha, users shall not:
(a) Use scraping tools, bots, or automated systems to extract content or data;
(b) Submit content that infringes the rights of third parties;
(c) Attempt to bypass security or access controls on the Platform;
(d) Redistribute, commercialize, or create derivative works of Platform IP or UGC outside the licenses granted herein;
(e) Submit false or misleading copyright or trademark claims;
(f) Attempt to upload videos, as video uploads are not allowed.
Infringement, Takedown, and Counter-Notification
SecureShiksha respects intellectual property rights and acts as an intermediary under Section 79 of the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the Copyright Act, 1957. If SecureShiksha (a) receives a valid takedown notice from a rights holder, or (b) otherwise has actual knowledge or reason to believe that any User-Generated Content or Platform content infringes the intellectual property rights of SecureShiksha or any third party, SecureShiksha reserves the right to remove, disable, or restrict access to such content in accordance with its Takedown, and will notify the uploader where feasible.
The uploader may submit a counter-notification in accordance with Rule 76 of the Copyright Rules, 2013, if they believe content was removed in error, providing sufficient information, contact details, and a declaration of good faith. SecureShiksha maintains a policy for terminating accounts of repeat infringers in appropriate circumstances and reserves the right to pursue injunctive relief, damages, and other legal remedies in Indian courts. Intellectual Property & Copyright Complaints: All content on the Platform is the exclusive property of SecureShiksha or its licensors. Users may not copy, distribute, or create derivative works without written permission.
User-Generated Content (UGC): By submitting reviews, posts, or comments, you grant SecureShiksha a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, display, and distribute such content on the Platform. You retain ownership of your UGC.
Copyright Complaints: If you believe your copyrighted work has been used in violation of your rights, please send a written notice to secureshiksha@mrwebsecure.com with:
➢ Description of the copyrighted work.
➢ Proof of ownership.
➢ Details of the infringing material and its location.
SecureShiksha will investigate any claims of copyright infringement and, if it determines that content actually violates copyright law, will take appropriate action, including but not limited to removal of the infringing content from the Platform.
10. FEEDBACK
Users may submit suggestions, ideas, comments, or questions relating to the SecureShiksha Platform or Services (“Feedback”). By submitting Feedback, you grant SecureShiksha and its affiliates a worldwide, perpetual, irrevocable, royalty-free, transferable, and sublicensable license to use, reproduce, modify, adapt, distribute, create derivative works from, and display such Feedback for any purpose, including incorporation into the Platform or Services.
You acknowledge that you retain no rights or ownership in the Platform or Services as a result of submitting Feedback, and SecureShiksha is under no obligation to compensate or credit you. This clause is governed by applicable Indian laws, including the Copyright Act, 1957, Patents Act, 1970, and the Information Technology Act, 2000
11. RESPONSIBILITY FOR USER-GENERATED CONTENT
SecureShiksha does not pre-screen, monitor, control, or endorse any User-Generated Content (“UGC”) on the Platform. All UGC, including posts, comments, suggestions, reviews, assignments, or other submissions, is the sole responsibility of the User who created it. SecureShiksha expressly disclaims all liability arising from UGC, including for accuracy, completeness, legality, reliability, or any reliance placed on such content. Users acknowledge that they may be exposed to content that is inaccurate, offensive, or unlawful, and agree that their sole remedy is to report such content in accordance with our Takedown.
12. SECURESHIKSHA’S RIGHTS
SecureShiksha owns and operates the Platform and Services, and reserves certain rights to protect its intellectual property, ensure the security and integrity of the Platform, and maintain a safe and compliant environment for all Users. By using the Platform, you acknowledge and agree to the following:
➢ All rights, title, and interest in and to the SecureShiksha Platform and Services including the website, current and future applications, APIs, databases, software, system architecture, designs, logos, marks, graphics, audio-visual materials, and any content created by SecureShiksha, its employees, or affiliates (excluding User-Generated Content) remain the exclusive property of SecureShiksha.
➢ The Platform and Services are protected under the Copyright Act, 1957; Trade Marks Act, 1999; Patents Act, 1970; Information Technology Act, 2000; Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023; and other applicable Indian laws.
➢ Nothing grants you the right to use the SecureShiksha name, trademarks, logos, domain names, or other distinctive brand features without explicit prior written consent.
➢ Any feedback, comments, or suggestions you provide regarding SecureShiksha or its Services are entirely voluntary. SecureShiksha may use such feedback at its discretion, without obligation or compensation to you.
➢ Users must not access or tamper with non-public areas of the Platform, SecureShiksha’s computer systems, or technical delivery systems of service providers without authorization.
➢ Users must not disable, interfere with, circumvent, probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of any system of the Platform.
➢ Users must not copy, modify, create derivative works of, reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to discover the source code of any Platform component.
➢ Users must not use automated tools (including scrapers, bots, spiders, or robots) to access or extract data from the Platform, except as expressly permitted.
➢ Users must not transmit altered, deceptive, or false source-identifying information, interfere with, disrupt, overload, flood, spam, or otherwise damage the Platform or its Services.
➢ SecureShiksha may, at its sole discretion, suspend, restrict, or terminate any User account or subscription, or remove, edit, block, or restrict access to any User-Generated Content that violates these Terms, applicable laws, or third-party rights, without prior notice.
➢ SecureShiksha may put accounts on hold, reject registrations, or restrict access to comply with legal or regulatory requirements.
➢ SecureShiksha may access User accounts and content in accordance with its Privacy Policy, to respond to technical issues, maintain Platform security, enforce these Terms, or for other legitimate business purposes.
➢ SecureShiksha may modify, suspend, or discontinue any Service at any time for operational, legal, or legitimate business reasons, without liability.
➢ SecureShiksha is not obliged to monitor User-Generated Content or user activity, but may take action, including removing content, suspending accounts, or initiating legal proceedings, upon notice or awareness of violations.
➢ SecureShiksha may, at its sole discretion, remove any User or restrict access to the Platform at any time for any reason, even without prior notice.
➢ SecureShiksha reserves the right to seek injunctive relief, damages, and to initiate civil, criminal, or regulatory proceedings under Indian law including the Copyright Act, 1957; Information Technology Act, 2000; Trade Marks Act, 1999; Patents Act, 1970; Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023; or other applicable statutes/law against Users whose actions or content violate the Terms, infringe SecureShiksha or third-party rights, or harm the Platform or its Users.
13. PLATFORM AVAILABILITY
Your access to the SecureShiksha Platform and Services may, from time to time, be suspended, restricted, or interrupted to allow for scheduled or unscheduled maintenance, updates, repairs, security enhancements, or the introduction of new features or services. SecureShiksha will make reasonable efforts to minimize the frequency and duration of such interruptions; however, we do not guarantee uninterrupted, continuous, or error-free access to the Platform or Services. You acknowledge and agree that SecureShiksha shall not be liable for any loss, damage, costs, or expenses, whether direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential, incurred as a result of temporary or permanent suspension, restriction, or unavailability of the Platform or Services, whether or not caused by factors within SecureShiksha’s control. Users are responsible for saving or backing up any important data or content prior to maintenance or updates, as access may be temporarily unavailable.
14. DELETION OF ACCOUNT
As a User, you may request deletion of your account at any time either by (i) using the “delete account” option available within your account settings on the Platform, or (ii) writing to us at the email address mentioned under the “Contact for User Support/Queries” section below.
Once your account is deleted (irrespective of the reason):
➢ You will permanently lose access to your account, enrolments, progress, certificates, or any associated records.
➢ Any User-generated Content associated with your account may be removed, become inaccessible, or deleted, and such deletion shall be irreversible.
➢ SecureShiksha shall not be liable for any loss of information, data, or User-generated Content resulting from such deletion.
Please note that we may not be able to delete all communications, photos, files, or other materials that were publicly made available by you on the Platform. However, we will anonymize your Personal Information (as defined in the Privacy Policy) so that you can no longer be identified in association with such information.
Your account will remain active unless and until you explicitly request deletion. Any active Subscription’s or payment obligations will continue until you cancel the same in accordance with the “Pricing and Payments” section or until your account is terminated under these Terms.
15. DISCLAIMER
You expressly agree that your use of the SecureShiksha Platform, Services, content, and all materials made available through the Platform is at your sole risk. The Platform and all related Services are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of accuracy, completeness, reliability, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, security, availability, or non infringement, as well as any warranties arising from course of dealing or usage of trade.
SecureShiksha does not warrant or guarantee that the Platform or Services will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free; that any User Generated Content or other content available on the Platform will be accurate, complete, or reliable; that defects or errors will be corrected; that the Platform or any servers are free of viruses, malware, Trojan horses, or other harmful components; or that any third-party links, services, or resources accessed through the Platform are safe, reliable, or fit for your purpose.
You understand and acknowledge that any reliance on User-Generated Content or third-party materials is solely at your own risk. SecureShiksha acts as an intermediary under Section 79 of the Information Technology Act, 2000 and shall have no liability for any User-Generated Content transmitted, hosted, or made available on the Platform. SecureShiksha shall not be liable for any loss or damage of any kind, including direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages, arising out of or related to errors, mistakes, or inaccuracies in User-Generated Content or other content; personal injury or property damage resulting from your access to or use of the Platform; unauthorized access to or use of servers, data, or personal/financial information; interruption or cessation of transmission to or from the Platform; or any bugs, viruses, or malicious code transmitted by a third party.
SecureShiksha does not endorse, warrant, or assume responsibility for any User-Generated Content, third-party advertising, or services offered through the Platform or any linked website. Any transactions or interactions with such third parties are at your sole risk, and you must exercise your best judgment and caution. Additionally, to the extent permitted under applicable law, including the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, SecureShiksha shall not be liable for any loss, misuse, or unauthorized disclosure of personal information.
16. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
To the fullest extent permitted under applicable law, SecureShiksha, its affiliates, directors, officers, employees, agents, licensors, and service providers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, punitive, exemplary, or special damages, including but not limited to loss of study time, academic results, career opportunities, data, goodwill, or business profits, whether arising in contract, tort (including negligence), strict liability, warranty, or any other legal theory, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.
In addition, SecureShiksha shall not be liable for any damages resulting from:
➢ Errors, mistakes, or inaccuracies in course content, study material, or user-generated content;
➢ Unauthorized access to or use of SecureShiksha’s servers, or any personal or financial information stored therein;
➢ Interruption, suspension, or unavailability of the Platform or services;
➢ Bugs, viruses, malware, Trojan horses, or other harmful code transmitted by any third party;
➢ Any defamatory, offensive, illegal, or otherwise objectionable conduct by any user or third party; or
➢ Any loss, damage, or disappointment arising from your use of the Platform, subscription, or content, including dissatisfaction with courses or learning outcomes.
We understand that in some jurisdictions, certain warranties or conditions may apply that cannot be excluded. To the extent permitted by law, SecureShiksha limits its liability under such warranties or conditions to providing access to the Platform again. You specifically acknowledge that the risk of using the Platform, content, or services rests entirely with you.
The Platform is controlled and offered by SecureShiksha in India. SecureShiksha makes no representations that the Platform is appropriate or available for use in other jurisdictions. Users accessing the Platform from outside India do so at their own risk and are responsible for compliance with local law.
17. INDEMNITY AND RELEASE
Indemnity
You agree to indemnify, defend (at SecureShiksha’s sole discretion), and hold harmless SecureShiksha, its affiliates, group companies, licensors, suppliers, and each of their respective directors, officers, employees, and agents, from and against any and all third-party claims, demands, losses, damages, liabilities, penalties, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorney’s fees and litigation expenses) arising from or relating to:
➢ any content, information, or material you submit, upload, publish, or otherwise make available through the Platform;
➢ your use of or access to the Platform or Services, including your conduct while interacting with other Users;
➢ your violation of these Terms, our policies, or any applicable law, regulation, or governmental order;
➢ your violation of any rights of a third party, including without limitation intellectual property rights, privacy rights, or contractual rights;
➢ any claim that your User-generated Content has caused damage, loss, or injury to a third party; or
➢ any fraudulent, negligent, or wilful misconduct on your part.
This obligation shall survive the termination or expiry of these Terms and/or your use of the Platform.
Release
To the maximum extent permitted under applicable law, you hereby expressly release SecureShiksha, its affiliates, and their respective officers, directors, employees, and agents, from any and all liability, costs, damages, or consequences arising out of:
➢ any actions or inactions of third-party vendors, service providers, or other Users of the Platform;
➢ disputes between you and any other User or third party; or
➢ reliance on or use of any User-generated Content available on the Platform.
You specifically waive any claims or demand you may have in this regard against SecureShiksha, its affiliates, and their respective officers, directors, employees, and agents, under any statute, contract,
tort, or otherwise.
Right to Assume Defence: SecureShiksha reserves the right, at its own expense, to assume the exclusive defence and control of any matter otherwise subject to indemnification by you, in which event you agree to fully cooperate with SecureShiksha in such defence and in asserting all available legal remedies.
18. JURISDICTION AND GOVERNING LAW
This Policy shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with this Policy shall first be attempted to be resolved through negotiation within 30 days of written notice. If unresolved, it shall be referred to arbitration only in Mumbai, Maharashtra, under the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996, conducted in English before a sole arbitrator, mutually appointed or, if the parties cannot agree within 15 days, appointed under Section 11 of the Act. The arbitrator’s decision shall be final and binding. The courts in Mumbai, Maharashtra shall have exclusive jurisdiction to enforce the arbitration award or grant interim relief.
19. GENERAL PROVISIONS

Modification and Updates: SecureShiksha reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to modify, amend, or discontinue these Terms or related policies at any time. Users are encouraged to review the Terms periodically. Continued use of the Platform after any modification shall be deemed acceptance of the updated Terms. These Terms do not confer any rights or remedies on any third party.
Force Majeure: SecureShiksha shall not be held liable for any delay or failure in performance caused by events beyond its reasonable control. Such events may include natural calamities, government actions, war, terrorism, strikes, epidemics, internet or power outages, civil unrest, or other unforeseen circumstances.
Severability: If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid, unlawful, or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
No Waiver: Any failure or delay by SecureShiksha in exercising its rights under these Terms shall not be deemed a waiver of such rights, nor prevent their future enforcement.
Headings: Headings and sub-headings are included for convenience only and shall not affect the interpretation of these Terms.
Platform Availability: While SecureShiksha makes reasonable efforts to ensure smooth and continuous access, uninterrupted or error-free operation of the Platform cannot be guaranteed, as certain disruptions may be caused by factors beyond our control.
Survival: Any provisions of these Terms which by their nature are intended to survive termination (including intellectual property rights, disclaimers of liability, indemnities, and governing law) shall remain in effect even after you stop using the Platform.

The Grievance Officer shall acknowledge complaints within 48 (forty-eight) hours of receipt and shall endeavour to resolve them within 30 (thirty) days or within such time as prescribed under applicable law. 22. POLICY END NOTE
These Terms and Conditions, together with the Privacy Policy, Pricing and Payment Terms, and any other policies or guidelines incorporated herein by reference, constitute the entire Agreement between you and SecureShiksha regarding your use of the Platform and Services.
By accessing or using the Platform, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. These Terms are effective as of 20th December 2025 and will remain in force until amended, replaced, or terminated in accordance with the provisions herein.
