We at SecureShiksha value and respect your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal information. This Privacy Policy (“Policy”) explains how we collect, use, store, disclose, and share your information when you access or use our website, mobile applications, domain, subdomains, APIs, or any other features, products, content, or services offered on or through the SecureShiksha Platform (collectively, the “Platform” or “Services”). It also describes your rights and choices regarding your personal data and how you can exercise them.


SecureShiksha is a standalone digital learning platform created and operated by Mrwebsecure Infosolutions Private Limited (“Mrwebsecure”), a company incorporated in India. While SecureShiksha is fully owned and managed by Mrwebsecure, it functions as a separate and independent platform, solely dedicated to delivering subscription-based digital e-learning solutions. Mrwebsecure may operate other products or services under its brand, but SecureShiksha remains a distinct initiative with its own independent focus.


Unless expressly stated otherwise or superseded by a specific policy, this Privacy Policy applies to all users of the Platform and shall be read together with our Terms & Conditions, Refund Policy, and any other policies or guidelines that may be incorporated by reference or updated from time to time (collectively referred to as the “Platform Policies”). By accessing or using the Platform, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by these Platform Policies.


For clarity, references to “SecureShiksha”, “we”, “us”, or “our” in this Policy refer to the SecureShiksha platform operated by Mrwebsecure Infosolutions Private Limited. References to “you”, “your”, or “User(s)” refer to all individuals or organizations that access, browse, or use the Platform and Services.


By registering on, accessing, or using the Platform or by voluntarily providing your personal information you consent to the collection, processing, use, disclosure, storage, and sharing of your data as described in this Policy and other applicable Platform Policies. If you do not agree with the terms of this Policy or how we process your information, you must immediately stop using the Platform. If you wish to access, modify, or delete the personal information you have shared with us, or exercise any of your privacy rights, you can do so as described in the Your Rights and Choices section of this Policy.


2. APPLICABILITY


This Privacy Policy (“Policy”) applies to all individuals and entities (“Users,” “you,” or “your”) who access, browse, register on, or use the SecureShiksha Platform (“Platform”) in any manner, including but not limited to learners, educators, content providers, mentors, partners, and visitors (collectively, “Users”), irrespective of their specific role or capacity.


This Policy governs the collection, use, disclosure, storage, and processing of personal information through the SecureShiksha Platform, including its website, mobile applications, APIs, and associated services.


Mrwebsecure Infosolutions Private Limited (“Mrwebsecure”), which operates the SecureShiksha Platform may also manage other websites, products, or services under different platforms (collectively, “Mrwebsecure Group Platforms”). Each of those platforms maintains its own privacy policies and terms of service; therefore, this Policy does not apply to personal data collected through such other platforms. Users of those services should refer to the respective privacy policies.


We have implemented appropriate technical and organizational measures consistent with applicable laws, including the Information Technology Act, 2000, the Information Technology (Reasonable Security Practices and Procedures and Sensitive Personal Data or Information) Rules, 2011, and the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDPA), to protect your personal information from
unauthorized access, misuse, unlawful disclosure, alteration, or accidental loss.


3. ACCESS & ACCOUNT CREATION


Access to and use of the Platform, including its services, tools, content, and features, requires the creation of an account by any individual or entity. By registering, you affirm that all information provided is accurate, complete, and current, and you agree to promptly update such information as necessary. SecureShiksha reserves the right to suspend or terminate access if inaccurate, incomplete, or outdated information is provided or maintained.


Use of the Platform is strictly limited to individuals 18 years of age or older who possess the legal capacity to enter into binding contracts under applicable law. Minors may access the Platform only through an account created and supervised by a parent or legal guardian, who provides verifiable consent, accepts responsibility for the Minor’s use, and agrees to be bound by all applicable Platform Policies. SecureShiksha may request proof of age or parental consent at any time and may suspend or terminate accounts that do not comply with these requirements.


The Platform may, at its discretion, provide limited guest access without requiring account creation. Guest users acknowledge that their access to services and features will be restricted and may be subject to additional conditions. SecureShiksha does not verify or assume responsibility for any information provided by guest users except as required by applicable law.


Users are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality and security of their account credentials, including usernames, passwords, and authentication details, and for all activities conducted under their account. Any unauthorized access, suspected breach, or misuse of an account must be reported to SecureShiksha immediately. SecureShiksha shall not be liable for any loss, damage, or liability arising from unauthorized access or misuse of an account resulting from a user’s failure to maintain adequate security measures.


SecureShiksha reserves the right, at its sole discretion and without prior notice, to suspend, restrict, or permanently terminate any account found to be in violation of these Terms and Conditions, engaged in fraudulent, abusive, unlawful, or harmful conduct, or otherwise failing to comply with applicable laws. Users, or Parents acting on behalf of Minors, may request account deletion by contacting SecureShiksha, subject to legal, regulatory, and operational requirements, including applicable data retention obligations.


4. USE OF THE PLATFORM BY CHILDREN


SecureShiksha does not knowingly collect, solicit, or retain personal information from Minors without verified parental consent. Any personal information provided by a Child is presumed to have been submitted with the Parent’s consent. If SecureShiksha discovers that personal information of a Minor has been submitted without such consent, or if a Parent becomes aware of such submission, the Parent should notify SecureShiksha immediately at secureshiksha@mrwebsecure.com. Upon receiving such notification, SecureShiksha will investigate and, where legally required, delete the information from its records within fifteen (15) working days, subject to any regulatory or legal retention requirements.


If a Minor misrepresents their age as 18 years or above and creates an account without parental consent, SecureShiksha shall not be held responsible, to the maximum extent permitted by law, for any resulting access, data submission, or consequences thereof. Upon discovery of such misrepresentation, SecureShiksha reserves the right to immediately suspend or terminate the account until verifiable parental consent is provided. The responsibility for any false or misleading information shall rest solely with the Minor and their Parent or legal guardian.


All accounts for Minors must be created and supervised by a Parent or legal guardian, and submission of personal information through a Minor account is presumed to have parental consent. SecureShiksha may require verifiable proof of parental consent, including but not limited to a digital signature, KYC documents, or other valid verification methods. Minors are not permitted to create independent accounts without parental supervision.


Parents or legal guardians are responsible for supervising the Minor’s use of the Platform. If a Child experiences any form of abuse, harassment, exploitation, or inappropriate conduct while using the Platform, the Parent must promptly notify SecureShiksha so that we may investigate and take
necessary corrective or remedial measures in accordance with applicable law.


5. CONTENT PROVIDERS


Individuals or entities (“Content Providers”) who wish to offer or sell content on the Platform,
including but not limited to videos, courses, learning materials, or other educational resources, must submit their content to SecureShiksha for verification, review, and acceptance, and no content may be independently published or made available on the Platform without prior written approval from SecureShiksha; upon acceptance, all content provided shall become the exclusive property of SecureShiksha, including all intellectual property rights, unless otherwise explicitly agreed in writing, and Content Providers acknowledge that they have no claim to ownership, distribution, or commercial
exploitation of such content, while SecureShiksha may grant limited rights back only under a separate written agreement. 


Content Providers are fully responsible for ensuring that their content does not infringe any third-party rights, violate applicable laws, or contain misleading, unlawful, or inappropriate material, and they agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless SecureShiksha, its affiliates, officers, employees, and partners from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from the content or any breach of these Terms or applicable laws; SecureShiksha shall not be liable for any issues, claims, or disputes arising from such content. SecureShiksha reserves the right to review, edit, reject, or remove any content at its discretion to ensure compliance with applicable laws, Platform policies, and quality standards, and is not responsible for any inaccuracies, errors, or omissions in content submitted by Content Providers, while maintaining records of review and acceptance to ensure legal compliance and minimize company risk.


6. PERSONAL INFORMATION, COLLECTION, AND USER CONTROL


1. Personal Information

“Personal Information” refers to any information that identifies a User, including, but not limited to, name, email address, phone number, age, gender, location, photograph, and government-issued identification numbers such as PAN, Aadhaar, passport, or driver’s license, provided at the time of registration or subsequently on the Platform.


Certain information is classified as Sensitive Personal Information, including passwords, financial data (excluding truncated card numbers), official identifiers, information about race, ethnicity, political or religious beliefs or affiliations, account credentials, or any other information recognized as sensitive under Indian laws, including the Information Technology (Reasonable Security Practices and Procedures and Sensitive Personal Data or Information) Rules, 2011, and the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023. Where applicable, Sensitive Personal Information is included within the definition of Personal Information.


SecureShiksha does not collect or store full credit/debit card numbers, CVV codes, or other complete payment instrument details on its servers. All payment transactions are securely processed by third-party payment gateways in compliance with the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI-DSS). SecureShiksha receives only limited transaction details (such as truncated card numbers or payment confirmation) necessary to verify and record transactions.


Users are requested to provide Personal Information only when explicitly required by SecureShiksha. The Platform is not responsible for any personal data voluntarily shared outside the contexts explicitly requested or required by the Platform.


2. Information We Collect and Purpose of Collection

SecureShiksha collects Personal Information to operate, maintain, and improve the Platform, communicate with Users, personalize the user experience, ensure security, comply with applicable Indian laws, and provide location-specific features where applicable.


SecureShiksha may collect information in connection with your use of the Platform as follows:


➢ Directly from Users: Account details, user preferences, KYC or verification documents for content providers, profile information, communications with SecureShiksha, and other voluntarily provided information.


➢ Automatically: Device and log information, browser type, IP address, device identifiers, operating system, server logs, usage patterns, session duration, pages visited, features used,
and interactions on the Platform. Cookies, pixels, and similar tracking technologies may be used to enhance user experience, remember preferences, analyse usage, and deliver personalized content. Users may opt out or withdraw consent for cookies and marketing-related tracking.


➢ From Third Parties: with explicit consent, SecureShiksha may obtain information from authorized third-party services or publicly available sources.


➢ Phone Number or WhatsApp: Users provide a valid phone number, and authentication is completed via a One-Time Password (OTP) sent to that number


➢ Third-Party Account Login: Users may log in using authorized third-party accounts (such as Google, Facebook, or other supported providers), in which case SecureShiksha receives only the information necessary to authenticate the User and create or link the account.


➢ Email Address Login: Users provide a valid email address, and authentication is completed via a verification link or an OTP sent to the email. SecureShiksha receives only the information necessary to authenticate the User and complete the login process and does not store or retain OTPs beyond the authentication session.


➢ SIM-Based / Mobile PIN Login: Users may log in or verify their identity through SIM-based authentication, where a third-party telecom or authentication provider generates and delivers an OTP linked to the User’s mobile number. SecureShiksha receives only the information necessary to authenticate the User and complete the login process and does not store or retain OTPs beyond the authentication session.


By providing this information, Users consent to its collection, processing, storage, and use for legitimate purposes, including authentication, account management, service delivery, personalization, security, analytics, fraud prevention, and compliance with applicable laws. This information may also be used to operate and improve the Platform and, with user consent, to send updates or promotional communications.


3. Data Processing, Storage, and Retention

All Personal Information collected is processed, stored, encrypted, transmitted, or deleted as necessary to provide Platform services, perform analytics, comply with legal obligations, and improve user experience. Personal Information is retained only for as long as necessary to achieve these purposes or as required by applicable law. SecureShiksha implements reasonable security practices and procedures to protect Personal Information against unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or misuse


4. User Rights and Control


Users have the right to:

Access, correct, or update their Personal Information.

Request deletion of Personal Information, subject to applicable legal and contractual obligations.

7. BASIS OF COLLECTION AND PROCESSING OF YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION


SecureShiksha collects and processes Personal Information depending on the nature of the data and the purpose for which it is used, in accordance with Indian law, including the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023. Personal Information is collected on one or more lawful bases, including your Privacy Policy of Secure ShikSha 6 explicit consent, compliance with legal obligations, performance of contractual obligations, or the pursuit of SecureShiksha’s legitimate interests, provided such interests do not override your rights or freedoms. Where required by law, SecureShiksha seeks your consent at the time of collection, and information is processed only after consent is provided, strictly for the purposes specified at the time of collection.


Your Personal Information may be processed for various purposes, including to provide and maintain the Services you have requested, to comply with legal and regulatory obligations, to fulfil contractual commitments, to pursue legitimate interests of SecureShiksha or third parties where those interests do not infringe your rights, and when you voluntarily choose to display Personal Information on public areas of the Platform, such as public profiles or comments. Personal Information may also be processed to protect your vital interests or for purposes necessary in the public interest, and in all cases, processing based on your consent is performed only for the purposes you have expressly approved.


SecureShiksha does not use Personal Information for automated decision-making or profiling except as expressly described in this Policy. Users may withdraw consent at any time, as explained in Section 11 - Your Rights by contacting us using the details provided in the “Grievances” section. Withdrawal of consent may affect our ability to provide certain Services, and in such cases, SecureShiksha reserves the right to suspend or terminate those Services. The consequences of withdrawing consent will be communicated to you prior to processing your request.


8. HOW WE USE, SHARE, AND DISCLOSE YOUR INFORMATION


SecureShiksha collects and processes your Personal Information to provide, operate, improve, and personalize the Platform and its Services in accordance with applicable Indian laws, including the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023. Your information is used and shared only for legitimate purposes and is never sold to third parties for monetary or other valuable consideration. Personal Information is used to create, maintain, and manage your account, deliver access to courses, content, and other resources, facilitate participation, issue completion certificates, and display customized content. It enables communication with other users and instructors, processing of payments to instructors and other third parties, verification of user identity, and prevention of technical issues, fraud, or abuse. Personal Information is also used to comply with contractual obligations, respond to your requests, provide customer support, and communicate service-related updates, administrative messages, notifications of changes, or updates to agreements. Additionally, it is used to inform you about course progress, rewards programs, promotions, newsletters, or new Services, with appropriate opt-out options.


To improve Platform functionality and ensure user safety, Information is analysed to identify usage patterns, customize user experiences, introduce new features, and detect, investigate, or prevent criminal activity, misuse, fraud, or threats to the Platform, its users, or third parties. Where applicable, targeted marketing and communications may be provided based on your consent, including information about new courses, offers, surveys, or subscription plans. Aggregated or de-identified data may also be analysed and shared for research, analytics, or business purposes.


Personal Information may be shared with affiliates, subsidiaries, and other businesses under common ownership or control, as well as with trusted third-party service providers or vendors performing services on our behalf, including payment processing, customer support, fraud detection and prevention, analytics, hosting, marketing, surveys, or promotions. These providers are strictly bound to use Personal Information only for the purposes specified by SecureShiksha and in accordance with this Policy. Instructors may access relevant data to improve course content, excluding sensitive identifiers such as email addresses and phone numbers unless explicitly consented. Limited information may be shared with third-party interactive platforms for participation, based on your consent. Usage data and cookie information may be shared with advertisers, networks, and analytics providers for personalized content, marketing, and analytics, with opt-out options provided where applicable. Personal Information may also be disclosed to comply with legal obligations, court orders, government requests, or law enforcement inquiries, or when necessary to enforce our Terms, Privacy Policy, or other agreements, or to protect the rights, safety, or property of SecureShiksha, its users, or third parties. In the event of a merger, acquisition, corporate restructuring, sale, or bankruptcy, Personal Information may be transferred to the successor entity, subject to the terms of this Privacy Policy.


Finally, if you interact with third-party websites or services through the Platform, those sites may collect, use, or disclose your Personal Information according to their own privacy policies. All Personal Information is retained only for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes described in this Policy, or longer if required by law, regulatory compliance, or to ensure the safety and integrity of the Platform. Personal Information is used for marketing and targeted communications only with your consent. You may withdraw consent or opt out of marketing communications at any time through account settings, email, or other available mechanisms. Withdrawal of consent may affect certain services, and SecureShiksha will communicate any consequences before processing your request.


9. DATA RETENTION AND DURATION


SecureShiksha retains Personal Information only for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes for which it was collected, including providing and maintaining the Services, managing your account, complying with legal and regulatory obligations, responding to your requests, and improving and securing the Platform. Personal Information directly associated with your account is generally retained until you close your account or withdraw consent, Certain information may be retained for a longer period if required or permitted by law. Information necessary for legal compliance, dispute resolution, fraud prevention, or enforcement of agreements may be retained for a longer period in accordance with applicable laws. Aggregated or de-identified data that cannot reasonably identify you may be retained indefinitely for research, analytics, or business purposes. Upon expiration of the applicable retention period, SecureShiksha will securely delete or anonymize Personal Information in accordance with applicable Indian laws and best practices. 10. YOUR CHOICES AND PREFERENCES


SecureShiksha provides you with control over how your Personal Information is collected, used, and shared, allowing you to make informed choices regarding your data. You may choose which Personal Information to provide, update, or delete; however, withholding certain information may limit or prevent your access to the Platform or certain features, either partially or entirely. updates, legal notices, or security-related messages are mandatory and cannot be limited, as they are necessary for the proper operation and legal compliance of the Platform.


Cookies and similar technologies may be managed through your web browser settings, and you may reject, remove, or disable cookies as you prefer. Please note that some Services or features of the Platform may not function properly if cookies are disabled, removed, or rejected.


You have the right to request access to your Personal Information, and to request updates, corrections, or deletions in accordance with applicable law, including the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023. Interactions with third-party services integrated into the Platform may have additional preference settings, which can be managed directly through those third parties.


SecureShiksha respects your choices and consistently applies your preferences across our Services while ensuring compliance with applicable Indian laws and protecting your privacy.


11. YOUR RIGHTS


All Users have certain rights in relation to their Personal Information under this Policy, in accordance with applicable Indian laws, including the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023. You may exercise these rights through the options available on the Platform once you log in, or by contacting us at the address provided in the “Grievances” section. SecureShiksha will respond to your request within a reasonable time, typically within thirty (30) days, or will inform you if the request cannot be fully processed. You also have the right to request a structured, commonly used, and machine-readable copy of the Personal Information that you have provided to SecureShiksha, and to request that we transmit such data to another service provider, where technically feasible.


You may request confirmation from SecureShiksha regarding whether your Personal Information is being processed and access such information along with supporting details. Certain basic information can be updated directly through your account on the Platform without contacting SecureShiksha, while corrections or updates to other information that may require verification can be submitted through a request. Continuous emails or notifications will not be sent automatically for such updates. You may also request restriction of processing or removal of your Personal Information from the Platform, subject to applicable law. Exercising the right to erasure may result in permanent deletion of your account and all associated data, which will not be retrievable except as required or permitted under this Policy or applicable law.


Certain limitations may apply to these rights. Requests may be partially or fully refused where exceptions exist under applicable law, including for legal compliance, contractual obligations, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, or to protect the safety, rights, or property of SecureShiksha, its users, or third parties. These rights are exercisable only with respect to your own Personal Information and not that of other users. To ensure the security of your data, SecureShiksha may require additional information to verify your identity before processing any request. Guest users who access the Platform without creating an account may exercise their rights regarding any personal or device information collected, such as cookies, IP addresses, or usage data, by contacting SecureShiksha at secureshiksha@mrwebsecure.com. 


SecureShiksha respects and implements your rights consistently across the Platform, ensuring your control over your Personal Information while maintaining compliance with applicable Indian laws. 


Reasonable steps are taken to ensure that the Personal Information collected and processed is accurate, complete, and up to date. Users are encouraged to review and update their information regularly through account settings to maintain data accuracy and integrity. Requests for deletion or erasure of Personal Information are subject to applicable legal, regulatory, or contractual retention obligations. Certain data may be retained in anonymized or encrypted form for compliance, dispute resolution, fraud prevention, or record-keeping purposes.


12. INFORMATION SECURITY


SecureShiksha is committed to protecting your Personal Information and implements reasonable technical, administrative, and organizational measures to safeguard it against unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, loss, or destruction, in accordance with applicable Indian laws, including the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.


All Personal Information, including sensitive data and KYC information, is stored securely and accessible only to authorized personnel within SecureShiksha. Users are responsible for keeping their account credentials confidential and should immediately notify SecureShiksha if they suspect unauthorized access or misuse. When using shared or public devices, users should log out after accessing their accounts.


Third-party vendors or service providers engaged to support the Platform are required to maintain security standards consistent with SecureShiksha’s policies. While we use industry-standard safeguards, no method of storage or transmission over the internet can be guaranteed to be completely secure.


SecureShiksha monitors its systems for vulnerabilities and potential security incidents. In the event of a breach, we have procedures to contain, investigate, and mitigate risks, and to notify affected users and relevant authorities as required by law. Security practices are regularly reviewed and updated to protect your Personal Information and ensure compliance with applicable legal and regulatory standards.


13. PROMOTIONAL COMMUNICATIONS AND INTEREST-BASED ADVERTISING


Certain communications, such as service updates, legal notices, and security-related messages, are mandatory for the operation of the Platform and cannot be opted out of. Users may opt out only of marketing and promotional communications; opting out does not affect mandatory messages


SecureShiksha may use your Personal Information, including account, usage, and preference data, to send promotional communications, newsletters, articles, offers, and updates about new courses, services, features, and events. You may opt out of receiving some or all of these communications through the Platform settings after logging in, by using the “unsubscribe” link in emails, or by contacting us at secureshiksha@mrwebsecure.com.


Even if you opt out of promotional communications, SecureShiksha may still send you transactional messages, such as service announcements, administrative or legal notices, and account-related information, which are necessary for the operation of the Platform and cannot be opted out of. If you wish to stop all communications (except legally required notices) or discontinue use of the Platform, you may delete your account via the Platform settings or by contacting.  


SecureShiksha may also use interest-based or personalized advertising, either directly or through thirdparty partners, to provide content and promotions tailored to your interests. Advertisers may automatically receive your IP address when serving ads and may use cookies or similar technologies to measure ad effectiveness and personalize content. SecureShiksha does not control third-party cookies or technologies, and their privacy practices are governed by their own policies. Users should review these third-party privacy notices for details.


Opting out of promotional communications affects only future messages from SecureShiksha. If your information has already been shared with third parties before updating your preferences, you may need to manage your preferences directly with those third parties.


By accessing or using the SecureShiksha Platform, you hereby grant SecureShiksha a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide, perpetual, and irrevocable right and license to use, display, reproduce, publish, and distribute your name, photograph, likeness, and/or image (whether provided directly by you or lawfully obtained by SecureShiksha) for marketing, advertising, promotional, and related purposes, in any media format now known or developed in the future, without requiring any further consent, approval, or compensation from you.


This license to use your name, photograph, likeness, or image for promotional purposes does not affect intellectual property rights of Content Providers. Content created and submitted by Content Providers remains under the ownership terms described in Section 5.


Interest-based or personalized advertising may require automatic technical information, such as IP address, to deliver ads effectively. Such technical data is processed in accordance with this Policy and may occur regardless of marketing consent. Users may manage cookies and tracking preferences
through their browser settings or third-party tools.


14. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY


While SecureShiksha takes reasonable measures to ensure that the Platform, its content, and its services are accurate, reliable, and secure, we do not guarantee that they will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free from external threats.


SecureShiksha is not responsible for the accuracy, completeness, legality, or reliability of content uploaded by users, educators, or third parties.


The Platform may contain links to third-party websites or services; such links are provided for convenience and informational purposes only. SecureShiksha does not endorse or assume any responsibility for the content, privacy practices, or security of such third-party sites.


To the maximum extent permitted by law, SecureShiksha and its affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, revenue, or profits arising out of your use or inability to use the Platform or reliance on any content therein.


15. POLICY UPDATES AND MODIFICATIONS


SecureShiksha may update or modify this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, legal requirements, or regulatory obligations.
